Story, Synopsis, Trivia, Dialogues for Mother (1999)
Asha known as Mrs Britannia (Rekha) lives in Mauritius with her father who is suffering from cancer. She struggles to get medicines for her father. At a beer bar she meets Sunil Malik (Jeetendra), Kumar Sinha (Randhir Kapoor) and Amar Khanna (Rakesh Roshan) who help her, but in vain, as her father dies. As the three of them leave for their own homes, unfortunately, Asha gets pregnant. She is afraid and doesn't know how to hide this piece of news. Mrs Chaudhary (Shashikala) helps her, and she gives birth to a baby girl named Jiya (Sanober Kabir). With the help of two servants, Maria (Shobha Khote) and Johny (Asrani) the years slowly pass by. Jiya becomes ninteen years old and falls in love with Raj (Rahat Khan). Suddenly the three men decide to visit Mauritius with their families. As the three of them arrive the story goes on. Asha, Mrs Britannia, is elected as Mother. Dhanraj (Dinesh Hingoo) and his friend Sunder Das (Thilock Mullick) wants his daughter to get married to Raj, but Raj refuses.
