Nagardola is a 2005 Indian Bengali adult film released on 2005. The film is directed by Raj Mukherjee, produced by Jagabandhu Majumdar.

A sentimental portrayal about the incidents of a family. Anindya & Nandini Banerji travel to Sankarpur for a change with their children Nisha (Samata Das) & Raja (Vicky). There Nisha makes friendship with the rational & sensitive MPhil student Samadrita (Indrani). She finds an elder sister in Samadrita, protective & sceptic. The family returns to Kolkata after a day. Nandini (Rupa Ganguly) is an eccentric, impatient & unscrupulous woman who is absolutely obssassed with the legacy of her father. She becomes a misfit everywhere, at home and also at her work place. She errupts at the drop of a hat. She quits her school only because she thinks that all other teachers are conspiring against her. On the other hand the sensitive Anindya has given up & remains scarcely involved in family matters. An excecutive by profession & an artist by chance Anandya (Krishna Kishor) remains in his own world of creation, work & sensitivity. Disgusted by the aggresive traits of his spouse, Anindya is driven into a subtle extre marital affair with his office secretary Richa. Meanwhile a blunder occurs. Nisha gets entangled into an affair with her brother's tutor Rudranil Dutta (Sangeet) who comes at their pavilion to teach Raja. Days later Nandini develops an acute problem in her vocal chord which is diagonised as the preliminary stages of cancer by Dr. Subir Sen (Dipankar). Hell breaks loose upon the family. Samadrita comes forward as a compelent ally and supports the shatlered kids & husband immensely. After an obervation & 15 days of absolute rest Nandini recovers. The disease changes Nandini from an extrovert to an introvert. She stops exulting & develops patience. Nisha in the mean time gets pregnant. She discusses this with the ever helping Samadrita. She gives her mental strength & advices her to undergo an abortion. Finally Samadrita, Nisha & Rudranil discuss this issue openly. Rudranil declares that he can marry Nisha after completing his studies. Samadrita dispatches all these thoughts & stresses on abortion. Meanwhile Nandini recovers. She re-discovers love in her husband. Finally Samadrita decides to disclose Nisha's secret to her parents after she undergoes 3 months of pregnancy. Anindya ends his passive affairs with a hint of humanism & rationalism. In the conclusion Samadrita unravels the hidden secret & ultimately the parents decide not to abort & give birth to the unborn.
