Nimai Sanyas is a 1941 Indian Bengali biographical,devotional film released on 1941. The film is directed by Phani Burma, music composed by Hariprasanna Das.

Hearing someone's call Nemai came out of the room.Father Jagannath Mishra and mother Sachidebi also came out of their room in thedead of night.They asked Nemai what had happened? Nemai said that suddenly he feard that his elder brother Biswaroop was calling him by his name. Sachidevi hearing this became very anxious because their elder son had left their house one day.Nemai was asked not to go to school by his father.But as the people of Nabadwip were disturbed by the mischievousness of the little boy Nemai,his father again allowed him to join school. Jagannath Mishra had already been dead. Nemai grew to be a young man.He had became an extremely learned man of Nabadwip.One day he married Bishnupriya, daughter of Sanatan Mishra. In the dead of night again Nemai heard some one was calling him by his name.Nemai went out but could not find anybody.Kashinath Thakur lodged a complain against Nemai to king Buddhimanta Khan.The charge was that Nemai was anti Brahmin,Nemai was heretical. Kashinath, Jagai and Madhuri conspired against Nemai and brought him to the court of Chand Khan.But their attempt failed.Then Buddhimanta Khan wanted to take revenge and so one night he set fire to Nemai's house.Nemai left his house and took shelter by the river side.It was a cloudy day. The black cloud's reflection was in the river water. It was almost dark. Suddenly Nemai started running towords the river. He lost his senses.Losing his sense, Nemai became "Chaitanya". Nemai came back to Nabadwip.Bt it was not the old Nemai. He always had tears in his eyes and chanted Krishna's name.The Nemai of Nadia became the lord of the iverse,"Mahaprabhu",inventor of new spiritual "Mantra",fFounder of the new religion.
