Nirmaan is a 1987 Indian Bollywood film released on 1987. Nirmaan is the story of an individual versus a system. A system that works entirely for vested interest where an individual has no identity Ramphal is a young man who lives in a small village of Jaisalmer district of Rajasthan. T hough poor, interms of money, he has rich cultural heritage and is happy in the environments. Famine, drought, lack of sources to make a livelihood and lure of big cities force him to leave his people, his house, and one day he migrates to a big city. . Bewildered, in the new urban environments, Ramphal wonders around the city, looking for work. One day he is picked up by the representative of a construction company and is employed as a casual labour. Sub-stranded construction methods, lack of safety measures, inferior materials and other intrigues adopted baffle Ramphal and one day he himself becomes victim of this unscruplous system. . Confused, dejected he is in double mind whetherto go back to his house in Rajasthan or to stay in town and avoid the humiliation that he might face and finally; like so many are seen on the roads; he prefers to stay in the city.
