Nishana is a 1980 Indian Bollywood social, drama film released on Oct 17, 1980. The film is directed by K. Raghavendra Rao, produced by A. S. R. Anjaneyulu , music composed by Laxmikant-Pyarelal.
Nishan is a story about the royal necklace and getting the property back. The story starts with Thakur Saab (played by Shreeram Lagoo) and his wife Jankidevi (played by Jayshree Gadkar) belongs to a rich and royal family. They have an ancestoral necklace which is very important and prestigious too. This is always worn by Jhankidevi. But, their dewaanji is behind this necklace and he also wants their property. Now after this, Jhnakidevi gives this necklace to Adivasi.She tells her to return after she gets back. Then this is worn by Adivasi’s kuldevi. She is killed by Dewanji. Dewanji tells this twisted story to Thakur and puts the blame on someone else. After years, Kavita who is the daughter of Thakursaheeb falls in love with the hunter, but he comes to know of this and ultimately disagrees for the wedding. Now, he tries to prove his innocence.
