Nurse is a 1943 Indian Bollywood social film released on 1943. The film is directed by Chaturbhuj Doshi, produced by Chandulal J. Shah under banner named Ranjit Studios, music composed by Gyan Dutt.
The only son of Sheth Gopichand, Deepak was married and had a son. He was a poet and his only complaint against fate was that his wife Usha could and would never appreciate his poetic efforts. . Sent on a business mission to Matheran, Deepak found in Kiran a girl girl who could appreciate his poetry and this was the beginning of trouble. So engrossed were they in each other that they did not dare a mutual confidence that Deepak was already married and that Kiran was betrothed. Deepak be lieved Kiran too much of a maiden to understand his position and Kiran believing Deepak to be too much of a bachelor ot appreciate hers. . Things came to a head with a crash. kiran was programmed to be married by her father. Kiran revolted, ran away and sought out Deepak. Then came the disillusionment. She did not want to steal a husband from a wife and she did not want to go back to her father. She, after a series of adventures, became a nurse and as such was put in charge of Deepaks son who was pining for his father. As nurse she and Usha with out identifying each other became great friends. . Raman, the disappointed betrothed bent upon revenge started out in search of Deepak. Without recognising they struck up a great frienship . The denouement was not long to come and when it did come it came with a bang. While the males in the lust of revenge forgot their mutual obligations, Kiran determined to square the matters to the best of her abilities. That she could at last reconcile the angry father, the unhappy wife and the pining child to the crrant Deepak was as much a t aiumph of her personality as of her own sacrifice.
