Story


Oos Raat Ke Baad is a 1972 Indian Bollywood film released on Jan 01, 1972. The film i. Thakur Sunder Singh is the Thakur of a small Estate, who has a daughter Sharmila and brother Madan Singh. In his past Sunder Singh was in love with a village girl and when she carried his child he asked her never to see him again. This past is always hunting Sunder Singh and in his memory, he always sings. His daughter Sharmila is in love with a Doctor Shyam, who also treats Sunder Singh her father as he is a patient of Asthama and Heart. Madan Singh is a wicked man and always runs short of maney. When he sees Sharmila and Doctor Shyam in Romance, he goes to Sunder Singh and informs him about his daughter. Sunder Singh gets very much upset and quarreld with Sharmila to the extent of slapping her also. . On Sharmilas birthday there is a celebration in the Haveli and a girl is brought there to do the "Mujra" dance. Doctor Shyam is also invited He sees that Sharmila is not present and goes to her room, as he is going, Madan Singh sees him and tells his brother Sunder Singh, who goes after Shyam and beats him up in presence of the guests and asks him never to come to the Haveli again. . Next morning Sharmila leaves her Father and goes away to stay at the Hostel. Sunder Singh is very much gireved by this. When Sharmila leaves the Haveli and goes away, Madan Singh, marries a dancing girl and by this Sunder Singh again gets an attack. Doctor Shyam is called and he advices that Sharmila should be brought beck. When Shyam leaves Madan Singh tells Sunder Singh that he does not turst Shyam leaves Madan Singh tells Sunder Singh that he does not turst Shyam and goes to get another Doctor. He brings in a Doctor Lakhan and Nurse Veera to attend on him. . One rainy night Madan Singh quarrels with his brother and asks him to sing another Will. In this Sunder Singh gets an attack and he is murdered by not rendering any medicine. After this Doctor Lakhan and Nurse Veera leave and Madan Singh calls Shyam telling him that his brother is very serious. Shyam come to the Haveli and is surprised to see the police there. He says that Sunder Singh has died of heart failure. Madan Singh accuses him of murdering his brother by giving him wrong medicine. The police want to arrest him, but he escapes. Then Madan Singh cremates Sunder Singh and wires Sharmila about her fathers death. . When Sharmila comes back, she finds that the Haveli is haunted by her fathers spirit.
