Oye Lucky! Lucky Oye! is a 2008 Indian Bollywood costume drama, comedy film released on Nov 28, 2008. The film is directed by Dibakar Banerjee, produced by Ronnie Screwvala under banner named Utv Motion Pictures, music composed by Sneha Khanwalkar.
Influenced by the true story of Devinder Singh aka Bunty, it is an extremely appealing and bold confident man and thief who is associated with the rich, well known and dominant part of Delhi society and then is continued to rob them blind. Nothing was too big nor was anything too irrelevant to escape his attention. The film opens with his preliminary and charts his advance from the projects of breach ridden suburban Delhi to the very heart of the staircases of power. Along the way he makes lifelong friends, falls in and manages to deceive the entire law and order machinery.He is then handcuffed by the special Crime Branch Inspector Devender Singh, Lucky Singh echoes upon his life: his babyhood, his father's second marriage, his siblings; his entry into crime and clubbing with Gogi Arora; his marriage with the lovely Sonal; and his treachery by his business partner.
