Pahari Moyna 2010

Pahari Moyna is a 2010 Indian Bengali drama,romance film released on Feb 12, 2010. The film is directed by Ramnath Roy, produced by Brindaban Films.

Prasanta is a young student studying in a college. His mother falls sick one day and passes away. Before she passes w ay, she asks him to go to the hills and meet her friend Kalavati whom she had promised that she would get Prasanta married to Maina, Kalavati’s daughter when they grow up. He goes and meets Kalavati.Maina is in love with a snake charmer Chandan and her elder sister had also been in love with a snake charmer, but both of them had perished as a result of being bitten by a snake who had decided to take revenge on any snake charmer when it’s female partner had been captured by a snake charmer.Chandan is asked to go away from the village, but is later brought back to catch that particular snake. That snake comes back and bites both Chandan and Maina and they die.Prasanta comes and says that he has lent a mantra which would help to revive Maina and Chandan.He is successful in reviving both of them , but he dies in the process and they are united.
