Parakh is a 1987 Indian Bollywood film released on 1987. Even gold has to undergo strict scrutiny to prove its worth. Same is with Geeta (Sarika) who after the demise of her father starts working with Kulwnat in order to help her mother - One duty Kulwnat tries to entangle Geeta in his dishonest dealigs but Geeta refuses and resigns from job. . A family friend Shastriji-(Shivraj) introduces Geeta to Seth Ratandas (Madanpuri) to work as a maid servant for his bedridden Sister (Leela Mishra) and Geeta with her heart moving honest ways wins Sympathies of all family . . Seth Ratandas had long decided to get his son Rajesh (Vijayandra) married to his friend Dwarika Prasads (Jagirdar) daughter Leela (Simpal Kapadia) and now he wants to solemmise it as he has engaged himself in deeds of charity due to oldage having handed over the charity of all responsibilities to Rajesh. . One Day Kulwant comes over to Ratandas to request him to give him the contract of the construction work of his new factory but suddenly Geeta interrupts and shatters his plans telling Ratandas everything. . Kulwant Schemes to get Geeta Kidnapped by Goondas and to avenge himself through mass physical abuse over her. His plan clicks bur Rajesh arrives at nick of the time to rescue her and that starts soft feeling, between them. . Rajesh puts off the programme of his marriage with Leela whenever asked by fater Ratandas-Even Leela and her brother Kumar (Jagdeep) fail to persuade him. . At last Ratandas decides to announce the engagement of Rajesh and Leela at the occasion of the inaugrat party of the new factory but tables are turned and Rajesh declares about his love for Geeta among all and Geeta blaming herself of tress passing leaves the places. . On the way Geeta overhears the conspiracy of Kulwant to blow up the new factory with an already installed dynamite, unfortunately she is trapped by Kulwant and he goes to supervise the execution of factory- meanwhile Kumar and Phulmati(Padma Khanna) approach and set Geeta free. All rush to the factory. A vicious fight follows and in the process Geeta a receives a bullet wound. . Leela provides the best medicine for survival of Geeta by telling her that she is gladly eliminating herself and that Rajesh belongs entirely to Geeta.
