Parapare is a 1936 Indian Bengali drama,family film released on 1936. The film is directed by Jatin Das, music composed by Krishnachandra Dey.

In his childhood Mahim lost his father. Village neighbour Dayal took charge of Mahim and his widow mother. Dayal wanted Mahim to get married in a rich house. As a boy, Biseswar was a owner of a huge fortune. Biseswar also wanted her grand daughter Saraju to get married in a poor family. So Mahim and Saraju got maried. Mahim lost himself amidst that vast fortune and forgot his mother who was always expecting him every moment in her village house. Mahim became intimate to Prodyut, wayward son of a rich person who introduced him to Santa. In the mean time Mahim's mother died. Saraju had nothing to do but weep. One day Saraju also died. The only reason of Mahim's such down fall is Prabati. One day when Prabati was ready to misappropriate all the property of Biseswar, his assistants also started to calculate their shares at the same time. Prabati was ready to deprive even his assistants. Prabati's friend Kalicharan suddenly uttered..."The wages of sin is death".
