Pardesi 1970

Pardesi is a 1970 Indian Bollywood family drama film released on Jan 01, 1970. The film is directed by Kundan Kumar, produced by Kundan Kumar. Ajay and Vijay were step brothers, but their love for each other was unparallelable. Kavita (wife of Ajay) treated Vijay like her own child Ranima loved Ajay more than Vijay her own son. Dharampal (the old Munim) wanted to marry his daughter Rekha with Vijay. Ajay was the main obstacle. An idea struck Dharampals mind. One day the party had gone for "Shikar". The thundering sound of the lion was heard. Before Vijay could pull the trigger Dharampal turned the barrel of the gun towards the side where Ajay was standing. The bullet did not hit Ajay but he fell into a deep valley. While rolling down a snake bit him. The news of Ajays demise shocked Rani ma and Kavita. Both fainted. Ajay was saved by a snake charmer but he lost his memory. He did not remember his name, so he was christened "Pardesi". Maina (daughter of the snake charmer) and pardesi fell deeply in love. Tikora, another snake charmer of the Basti was mad after Maina. He became jealous of Pardesi. . Dharampal had succeeded in the execution of his second plan. Rani Ma and Kavita had left the place. But even then his cherished goal was not achieved. Vijay refused to marry Rekha. Frustrated, Dharampal phoned the police and alleged that Vijay was the murderer of Ajay. Vijay absconded. Fortunately he took refuge at the very palace where Rani Ma and Kavita were staying. . Tikora was a great headache. One day Maina and Pardesi left the Basti. Tikora followed them. . Rani Ma, Kavita and Vijay were returning home. On the way they met Ajay and Maina. . Ajay was under doctors treatment. Maina was staying with him. Rani Ma and Kavita were confident that Ajay would get back his lost memory, when an untoward incident took place. Tikora accidently met Dharampal. Both conspired. With the help of Dharampal Tikora entered the Haveli and flung the deadly snake on Ajay. Ajay fell on the floor and became unconcious. Maina reached the spot at the nick of time.
