Parichoy 1941

Parichoy is a 1941 Indian Bengali drama,musical film released on 1941. The film is directed by Nitin Bose.

In his music school Nityananda had appointed lyricist for all new songs and music directors for all new tunes. Old songs are never tought in that school. But both the music director and the lyricist were like Nityananda - inspite of its specialities the school was of on the verge of closure. One day Sati Devi, a student of that school bought a record and played out for Nityananda. Listening to the song Nityananda enqiured about that lyricist and the composer. It was found that it was Ananta Roy. Ananta Roy along with his attendant Janardan rented the first floor of Sati Devi's residence. Sati Devi and Ananta were introducted. Nityananda arrenged for an annual event of his school with the hope to start fresh. Ashutosh Bandopadhay, owner of five news paper of the town, was elected as the president. Ananta Roy started teaching Sati music. He wanted Sati to sing a song which would mesmarise every one. Ultimateky he was found right. Every body was praising Sati afer her perfomance. No body was interested about Ananta. So the dejected Ananta went back to his village. President Ashutosh wanted to marry Sati. Sati's father did not hesitate in that proposal. Ananta Roy came to the marriage reception and told that the marriage of Sati and Ashutosh was impossible. Sati did not say anything. So Ananta again returned back home. After marriage Sati didn't have any want of anything. God like husband, enough property and countless servants , but inspite of that one day Satu reminded of Ananta. She thought all she got was due to that poet composer . At last Sati told her husbad about her teacher Ananta. Ashutosh bought Ananta to him. Ananta became his closest friend. After that Ananta got fame-name-money and what not!
