Patal Nagri 1963

Patal Nagri is a 1963 Indian Bollywood film released on 1963. No body can fight destiny but Kal Bhairav thought otherwise. It was ordained that he will be killed at the hands of 7th prince of Rajgarh. Kal Bhairav snatched the baby prince Arun from the cradle, stangled him and threw the body into the sea, as it was fate willed otherwise. Baby prince was saved and he turned out to be a fine, handsome and valiant youth in love with princess Padma, the sister of Patal Ketu, the ruler of Patal Nagri. When Kal Bhairav came to know of the fact that Arun is living, he went to Patal Nagri so as to get Golden Lotus and drink the nectar of the same to become immortal, but he was unsuccessful. Thereafter he wanted to possess the DJINN of lamp, for which he needed the help of an honest and a pious youth : and such was Ajit, a poor but selfless and Heroic youth. . Meanwhile Patal Ketu fall in love with Madhvi, the princess of Rajgarh His efforts to kidnap her were foiled by Ajit and his friend. Madhavi and Ajit fall in love. . Next day Madhavi unwittingly killed Gandharv Raj Chitra Ketus wife. Chitra Ketus fury fell on her father and he paralysed him. He also wanted to kill Madhavi but her pleadings softened his heart. He told them that if any body can bring Golden Lotus from Patal Nagri, his wife can again come to life Ajit promised to bring Golden Lotus and left for Patal Nagri. In the way Kal Bhairav met him and asked him to go to the cave to bring the Magic lamp, and promised Ajit to show the way to Patal Nagri. When Ajit secured the Magic Lamp, Kal Bhairav broke his promise. Ajit wanted to come out from the cave first before handing over the lamp, so Kal Bhairav left Ajit in a cave, turned his friend into a dog and went away. Meanwhile Arun persuaded padma to run away with him, furious Patal Ketu ordered Arun to be killed. He was thrown into a Den of lions. Ajit came to Patal Nagri with the help of the DJINN of lamp and saved Arun. Padmadevi out of gratitude showed him the way to Golden Lotus, where DJINN fought with the Monstrous Guardians of Golden Lotus. Ajit took possession of the Golden Lotus. . Kal Bhairav came to know of Ajits success. With the help of Magic, he turned himself into a monstrous bird, snatched Madhvi and Golden Lotus from Ajit, but Patal Ketu was more powerful. Kal Bhairav lost Madhvi and Golden Lotus to Patal Ketu. Ajit came to Patal Nagri to take back Madhvi and Golden Lotus. Kal Bhairav also came to Patal Nagri with more power. He changed Patal Ketu, Ajit, Arun, Padma etc, into pigmies and threw them to a fish to be devoured. Now Golden Lotus and Madhvi were in his possession again. He was very happy.
