Alokenath is a highly educated young man and Manjuri is a college student. They first met in a train. She was travelling with her father Satyananda. Satyananda was very impressed by Alokenath's bravery in the train. So he invited Alokenath to his house. Manjuri became a fan of Alokenath. Alokenath rescued Radharani and Manjuri from the clutch of debauch Jangal Kishore. But he failed to bring them in the main stream of society. So he started making a residence for these destitutes. Manjuri came to visit Alokenath in the company of two women. Jangal Kishore conspired against Alokenath. He was sentenced two years imprisionment for abducting two women. After he was freed Radharani and Mukul took him to Gomukh for a change. There accidentally Mukul found her lost husband. Manjuri was waiting for Alokenath in her death bed. Ultimately Alokenath came and met Manjuri.
