Phool Aur Patthar is a 1966 Indian Bollywood social film released on 1966. The film is directed by O. P. Rathan, produced by Ravi , music composed by Meena Kumari.

Shaka is a robber whose boss gives him 50% commission for each robbery. Shaka is in love with a club dancer Rita. The boss assigns one new contract to Shaka - to rob Jeevanram, a miser. During that time the plague hits Jeevanram. Jeevanram is asked to vacate his house. This clears Shaka's path for to robbing Jeevan's house. When he goes to rob he cant find any money but he sees a lady battling for life. Shaka brings the local quack and saves that lady from death. That lady happens to be Shantidevi, a widow of Jeevanram's elder son. Jeevanram's wife and son dont like Shantidevi because of which they leave her behind during the plague. When they come back they are suprised to see Shantidevi alive. They see a man's jacket and so they start thinking that she is into a relationship. Kalicharan tries to rape Shantidevi but she escapes and runs away with Shaka to his house. As time passes Shantidevi's goodness starts impressing Shaka who transforms himself slowly. He proves this by saving a child from a burning building risking his own life. Both fall in love. Shaka's withdrawal leaves his boss and Rita at a loss. So the boss kidnaps Shantidevi and takes her to an unknown place and tries to rape her but Shaka enters just in time to save her. During the fight Rita dies. After overcoming many more hurdles Shaka and Shantidevi start leading a life of health and happiness.
