Pranali is the story of a young girl born in a small village on the boundary of Karnataka & Maharashtra, a girl whose babyhood is yet untouched and full of pure probity but she still falls prey to one of the unconventional and distressed systems of our society; a scar of being Devdasi. She recklessly becomes an object of hunger. Convicted of prostitution charge, her prospect takes a much-awaited turn, when she chooses to give birth to a new life which in turn gives her ambition and adds zest to her life. She commits herself that she will fight all obstacles to educate her child and do everything feasible that could make way for her child to lead a very ordinary and best life.
