Pratishod is a 2009 Indian Bollywood film released on Jan 01, 2009. The film is directed by I V Sasi, produced by Kailosh Saraogi. An unacquainted person comes from some unknown place. There are a number of big bags and other things on his shoulders. He is going straight to a boat jetty. . He goes and wakes up the boatman who is sleeping soundly on the country boat. . Seeing the extraordinary behaviour of that stranger and hearing his words `Let us go without mention of his destination, the boatman gets a little perplexed. . Again come the words of the stranger.... "Let us go". The boatman asks "Where?" . Thodi door (just upto that place). . The boatman looks towards the place to which the stranger had pointed out. But there is only the vast and endless backwater. . After many days the boat comes and stops in front of a tea sthop. In the course of these days, the stranger and the baotman had become intimate friends. . The man fees convinced that he has after all reached his birthplace. He decides to stay there itself. . Nanu who is taking tea in that tea shop gets ready to render neccess- ary help to the stranger. . Valuparambu House - Hearing that name he is startled a little. Still he decides to stay there itself. Nanu brings the key of the house. The boatman unwillingly takes leave. . Nanu leads the stranger to the house. Everything he sees there is too old to him. . Pylee and Appachin...duck eaters....brothers. He enquires and underst- ands everything about them from Nanu. At that place he finds out the aim of his journey. . The next day he goes to the arrack shop to meet Pylee in person. He enters into a big discussion with pylee. People get frightened. He asks Susheela and finds out the way to Pylees house. . Susheela - the only daughter of Shivnarain Nai - a farmer of that place. A neighbour of Valuparambu. Susheela feels an unusual pity for him. He goes to Pylees house in search of him. Pylee is out there. He enquires about him. Appachan is the elder brother of Pylee - a fully mature and true Christain. Ammini is the only daughter of Pylee. Appachan introduces her to Vishwanathan.
