Prem Bandhan is a 1978 Indian Bollywood social film released on 1978. The film is directed by Ramanand Sagar, music composed by Laxmikant-Pyarelal.

Adivasi Mahua lives with his widowed dad in a village. One day the local Poojary asks Mahua's dad to look after a lonely guy. They name him Kishan. Eventually Mahua and Kishan fall in love and get married but soon after that Kishan dissappears somewhere. Later it is discovered that he lives in Mumbai and refuses to recognize Mahua.


A young man stumbles into a fishermans village one day and they give him a new name Kishen as he was suffering from amnesia. He marries a girl, Mohua, and lives with her for a while but one day meets with another accident which cures him. He knows that he is a rich industrialist and he goes back to his home, leaving the live he had with the fisherman, again forgotten. However, one strand of that life reaches out of him, the bond of love. Whenever he reaches out to his fiancee of the rich life, he is stayed by the power of the love fishergirl.
