Story
Nilanjan, a village boy new in the city tries to find out where Manada Sundari lives but some local goons rob him. Raja comes to the rescue and takes him to Manada's place. Nilanjan is groomed by Raja so that no one can take advantage of his simplicity. Meanwhile, Madhav Sanjal a construter, wants to destroy the slum where Nilanjan and Raja lives. Some college students try to rape Romi but Nijirlan saves her. Romi and Nilanjan fall in love. Meanwhile Madhav Sanyal tries every possible way to demolish the slum. raja is shocked to learn that Madhav is Romi's father. Both Madhav and Raja opposed the relationship but Romi and Nilanjan defied them and eloped. Romi's brother, Shibu, hired some goons to kill Nilanjan he came to know that Nilanjan's father was a good friend of Madhav. But the goons could not be stopped... Nilanjan was already lying dead and Romi claimed her own life by jumping into a river.
