Purani Haveli 1989

Purani Haveli is a 1989 Indian Bollywood horror, suspense film released on Feb 07, 1989. The film is directed by Shyam Ramsay, produced by Gangu Ramsay.

The movie starts with a monster (played by Manek Irani), who is locked in the godown of an old aim. What adds more to this story is that, a holycross lying over the door averts the monster from coming out as he fears only God. Now, people get to know of this and the owner instead of keeping this sells this bungalow to Rana (played by Pinchoo Kapoor) and to Kumar (played by Vijay Arora) who is taking responsibility of Anita (played by AmitaNangia) and her property after her mom and dad’s death.

But, Mrs. Kumar is a very selfish and money hungry lady and therefore, Mrs. Kumar (played by Neelam Mehra) has an eye on Anita's estate and wants her brother Vikram (played by Tej Sapru) to marry Anita. Now starts the love life of Anita who is in liking with a poor photographer named as Sunil (played by Deepak Parashar). But, there is a stage when Kumar gets missing. He and Rana are murdered by the monster. The monster takes the revenge against these buddies and it starts killing one by one. Then one day, Anita goes to the mansion along with her buddies named as Shobha (played by Shobha) & Anand (played by Shehzad Khan). Even Sunil is also in search of evidence about this monster. Sunil also gets there along with his assistant Mangoo (played by Satish Shah). The monster starts murdering Anita's friends & the other people one by one. Only an old guy roving around the mansion knows about the story of this monster. Everything in the palace is now haunted.
