Puraskar is a 1970 Indian Bollywood social film released on 1970. The film is directed by Ram Kumar, produced by Ram Kumar.
When Professor Dass perfected his new Remote control machine, a destructive weapon of considerable military significance, some organisation engaged in espoinage and destruction of Indian polity, kidnapped him. Fortunately they did not succeed in getting his papers. Resourceful anti-national organisation there-upon sent his double-his own brother-Dinanath to go to the residence of Prof. Dass to get papers. But C.B.I.Agents Rakesh and Umesh foiled his attempts. Rakesh fell in love with Ranu, daughter of Professor Dass. Taking advantage of the situation Rakesh and Umesh allowed Dinanath to escape with papers of Professor Dass. They followed him to Kashmir, where the head-quarters of the enemy were located. . Enemy soon discovered that the papers brought by Dinanath were useless There-upon it was decided that they should brain-read of Professor Dass. They succeeded in his and got his formula. Rakesh also was caught by the enemy. He was to be executed alongwith others. On the appointed day i.e. 24th March, enemy forces attacked India. Professor Dass agreed to destory Indian defences with the help of his remote remote controll machine when he was threatened that otherwise his daughter would be killed. .
