Purnirma 1965

Purnirma is a 1965 Indian Bollywood social film released on 1965. The film is directed by Narendra Suri, produced by Mahipal under banner named Roopkala Pictures.

Purnima is an emotional family drama with the various twists and turns taking place in the life of Purnima (Meena Kumari). Purnima and Prakash (Dharmendra) are in love with each other but due to certain problems in her personal life she had to marry Vasant (Siddhu) who is the son of a rich businessman, Seth Ratanlal (Nasir hussain). Prakash is heartbroken but on the insistence of Purnima marries Vandana (Anita Guha). Both are now married with kids, but as fate would have it their paths cross again. However, this time Vasant doubts Purnima and tortures her. Vandana learns about this and goes to lodge a police complaint. Vasant follows her and both die in a road accident. Seth Ratanlal and Purnima have to leave the house in order to pay Vasant's debts.Purnima then marries Prakash. But then there are misunderstandings due to Prakash's sister who does not like Purnima and her son. These misunderstandings lead to both Purnima & Prakash's kids running away from the house. In search of the kids everyone comes together and at the end everything is fine and they live happily together.
