Raadha Aur Seeta 1979

Raadha Aur Seeta is a 1979 Indian Bollywood drama film released on Aug 10, 1979. The film is directed by Vijay Kapoor, produced by Tarachand Barjatya under banner named Rajshri Productions.

Seeta and Radha are studying in college and they are close friend. Seeta a middle class girl with values and very shy in nature. Radha is just opposite. She is ultra modern in dress and often fights with boys. Shekher is a rich businessman's only son and a brilliant student. He wants to learn business as a trainee in a business firm by his own virtue, so he comes to Pune. He takes shelter in his friend's home, where he meets Seeta. Soon they fall in love. Shekher joins in Radha's father's firm as a trainee. Radha meets with him and starts to fight. Soon, she also falls in love with Shekher. Radha & Seeta, often try to see each others' lover, but fail. Shekher's father comes to Pune and meets with Eadha's father surprised, Radha and her father introduced with a new Shekher, who is a rich businessman. Shekher's father returns soon. Radha's father decides to get her married with shekher. Radha agrees, as she has changed totally. But when Shekher is approached, he refuses. Shekher is only going to marry Seeta. Radha comes to know everything. It breaks her heart. Shekher marries Seeta. They come to railway station for taking train. Radha also comes. She says goodbye to them. Newly married couple goes, leaving Radha alone.

Shekhar, the only son of a weathy father is a first class graduate in Engineering. He joins a factory which belongs to Raadhas father who happens to be an old friend of his father-as a trainee. He goes to stay with his frined Bhagwan and meets Seeta who stays with her mother next door to Bhagwan. In the very first meeting Shekhar looses his heart to Seeta who also falls in love with him. . Raadha and Seeta are great frinds, so dear to each other that they would not hesitate to sacrifice their lives for the happiness of each other. Their attitude to life is however different. While Seeta is placid and ready to accept whatever fate is in store for her, Raadha is impatient, ready to fight against fate to win her cherished object. Raadha meeta Shakhar in the factory and falls in love with him. . Raadha and Seeta do not divulge thier love to each other for someime. Ultimately Raadha agrees to introduce Seeta to her lover. But as luck would have it Shakhar is unable to keep the appointement. Meanwhile Raadhas father and Shekhars father meet and fix their wedding. Just then Raadha finds out that Shekhar is in love with Seeta. Raadha who also realises that the frined for whom she would sacrifice her life is in love with Shekhar the man she loves.
