Raincoat is a 2004 Indian Bollywood drama,social film released on 2004. The film is directed by Rituparno Ghosh, produced by Srikant Mohta.

Raincoat is the story of two lovers Manoj and Neerja who meet, fall in love but destiny separates them forever. Neerja marries a more wealthier man and when Manoj meets her again, he discovers the hidden truth behind her married life.

One rainy afternoon, two separated lovers meet each other to play the game of words............

Manu (Ajay Devgan) asks for some monetary help from his friend Alok (Samir Dharmadhikari) for which Alok gives him some of the names of their common friends to whom manu is now expected to meet and ask the help from them.
During the day Manu also goes to meet Neeru, his old girl friend, now married to a rich man. Neeru and manu start talking to each other. Their talks leads Manu to drown into the memories, of their affair, and separation. Since their was nothing to eat in home, therefore Neeru asks for Manu's raincoat that he wore that rainy afternoon, to go out to bring something to eat. When Manu was alone in the home, then enters a stranger (Annu Kapoor). At first it appears like he is Neeru's husband, but then he makes manu aware of some harsh realities........
now what will manu do?
