Story
Rakhi Aur Hathkadi is a 1972 Indian Bollywood social film released on 1972. The film is directed by S. M. Sagar, produced by S. Noor.
A temple priests infant daughter, after being kidnapped and sold to a prostitute was trained to sing and dance. She refused to be further `Sold" and a sympathetic bangle-seller rescued her and married. Their new-born male child was adopted by a wealthy childless couple, which later got a son of its own. Meanwhile the mother, after some time, gave birth to a daughter, but lost her husband in illness. This girl and the rich mans son, fell in love while studying and wished to marry. The elder one-adopted son-was, for the time being, prevented from marrying his lady love.
