Rakshaa Bandhan 1976

Rakshaa Bandhan is a 1976 Indian Bollywood devotional film released on 1976. The film is directed by Shantilal Soni, produced by K. G. Bhat.

Madhav & Pravati saved Naagrani from the clutches of a snake charmer and Naagrani blessed them with a baby girl, Asha. However, without enjoying even little joys of parenthood, they expired suddenly. Little Asha grew up with a God fearing uncle, sympathetic cousin and an aunt, who gave her a harrowing time. Once on the day of Rakshaa Bhandhan, she prayed to Naagraja for giving her a brother and the wish was fulfilled by Naagbhai, sent by none other than Naagrani. During her cousin's wedding she meets Amar. They were in love, but again Asha was proven to be an unfortunate girl as Amar's mother refused their marriage. But her Naagbhai took care of everything and they got married. Destiny again played its role in Asha's happy married life, when a family astrologer told her that Amar will die after six months. How did Naagbhai support helpless Asha? How did Naagbhai kept the respect of Rakhi tied on his wrist by Asha?

With the blessing of Naagrani, Madhav and Parvati atlast had a baby girl. Without enjoying even little of parenthood, they expired suddenly. Little Asha grew up with God fearing uncle, sympathetic cousin and hot lips of Aunty, who gave her a very tough time. Day to day humiliation created a strange complex in her nature. . On one Rakshaa Bandhan day, she preadched Naagraja and atlast quenched her thirst for brotherly love, through Naagbhai. . During her cousins marriage she met Amar. They indeed, were in love, But again Asha was proved to be an unfortunate girl. Amars mother refused the marriage with the fear that Asha might bring bad luck to her family. But Naagbhai took care of everything, they got married and were having a good time. . But who can prevent the cycle of destiny ? On one full moons day an eminent family astrologer told Asha that Amar will die after six months. Asha fell apart from inside, but there was nothing she could do. Her brother asked her to keep Lord Shivas "Vrata" which was no to be disclosed till it is completed.
