Rakshak is a 1996 Indian Bollywood action film released on Nov 29, 1996. The film is directed by Ashok Honda, produced by Ashok Honda.
The film is a sequel of ' Sincere Raj' a Tamil film starring Vijayakanth and Aamani. There are a few things which make the film a better watch than the original one. The story starts with Raghu (played by Raghuvaran). He has been ignored and demeaned all his life. So, now he decides to teach the world a lesson. So, he prints the best ever fake currency notes. He is then recognized by a gangster named Bardha (played by Pramod Moutho). But, Raghu's aim is to take the power of Bardha and get his property by killing him. He ends all his criminal activities when he comes to know that his brother-in-law, Asst. Superintendent of Police, Raj Sinha (played by Sunil Shetty), along with his wife, Suman (played by Karisma Kapoor), her mother (played by Aruna Irani), and his young son, Bunty, are coming for a visit. But one day, Raj comes to know that Raghu is a criminal. So, he tries to stop him. But, Raghu kidnaps his wife and his son. But in this, Suman and her mother are killed.
