Rasta 2003

Rasta is a 2003 Indian Bengali thriller film released on 2003. The film is directed by Bratyo Basu, produced by Sri Prokash Chowdhury.

The main characters of this story are Nil Sengupta, Tyre da, Bubka, Sumana, Jagannath Halder, Santosh Banerjee , Liza and Debashis Sinha. Nil was his in love with classmate Somnath Banerjee's sister Liza . Liza betrayed him and she married someone else. Nil was upset and came back to Kolkata . His mother complained to police against an antisocial named Tiwary. Tewary became ferocious and he killed Nil's mother brutally To take revenge of his mother's murder Nil killed Tiwary and entered into the world of antisocial activities . Tyre da is Nil's companion. Santosh is a hardcore criminal, his nickname is Bhai da. Nil used to work with Santosh, but the relation breaks up. Jagannath is a political leader and he is the godfather of Santosh . Sumana is Nil's second love. She is a sensinble girl. Debashis Sinha is an IPS officer . Liza comes to Kolkata with her husband and son Bubka,to meet her ailing father-in-law .they feel that the atmosphere is not suitable for Bubka and they have to go to Tatanagar . Suddenly Liza decides that Bubka will stay with Nil. They come to meet Nil and request him to keep Bubka for a couple of days . Though Nil does not show any fondness to Bubka at first, later on he feels affection for Bubka. Bubka also likes him. Santosh tries many times to murder Nil and Bubka. Every time he fails . Nil comes to Sumana's house in chandannagar with Bubka. Sumana tells Nil to surrender to police. In the meantime , Santosh kills Tyre da. Liza also comes to know the truth that Nil is a criminal and she takes away Bubka from him. Nil decides that he will surrender to police. Debashis comes to arrest Nil. suddenly Nil gets a phonecall from Sumana's mother and he comes to know that Santosh has murdered Sumana viciously. Nil doest not surrender and he runs away . He kills Santosh and then surrenders to police.
