Sagar is a 1994 Indian Bengali drama film released on 1994. The film is directed by Jagadish Mondal.

Sadhina is a college studen.t Her father, a buissnessman, tries to arrange her marriage.A brother of her friend Chandar wants to marry her. But as he is not perfect for Sadhina, Sadhina and he family rejects him. In the mean timSadhina meets with Anteim. Anteim steers her away from Chandan. Many times Sadhina and Anteim faces problems but take care of each other .Sadhina's parents also like Anteim. When thay were going to tie the knot through wedhing, Anteims father dies. Father of Anteim wanted to arrange Anteim's marriage with Chanda the daugther of his fiend but Anteim does not agree. Anteim informs about the satuation to Sadhina and Chandra. Chandra is shocked but Sadhina wants to make Anteim happy .They change Anteim's father's last desire but in the mean while Chandra commits suicide to release Anteim from her burden. Before that Sadhina hides herself. Everyone tries to find her. Anteim gets serious when Sadhina is missing. He becomes mad in Sadhinas love .One day Anteim finds Sadhina with a monk who informs him that he saved her from suicide and since then she is with him but she has become speechless. Anteim tries to get back her speech ultimately he gets success. Sadhina gets back her speech and identifies Anteim and becomes normal. Antiem and Sadhina ties the knoght through wedding and their life starts sailing oner a sea of love.
