Sahil is a 1959 Indian Bollywood social film released on 1959. The film is directed by Bhushan K. Agrawal, produced by Kul Bhushan Agrawal.
Sahil is the story of an imaginary Isiand. Bikram the chief of a few thoudands people living in that Island, was strict follower of the rules and regulations their forefathers had made. His two daughtere, Tara and Paro, were sister to each other but they were entirely different from each other in their nature. Tara wwas ciever and inte- lligent while Paro was simple and innocent. . By chance a few hunters happened to reach this Island and were shelt- ered to stay as guests till one of their members Raju who had fallen sick, would recover, Raju who was just posing sick saw Paro and from their first look to each other, thier hearts felt an awakenning of an eternal love with each other. The more they were drawn close to each other. Tara tried to separate them. Tara knew the ultimate result of their love and she never wished her young and dear sister to meet death. She tried her best to keep her sister away from Raju, Not only that she tried to show her false love with Raju, but Paro did not realise it, She even tried to destory Raju once for all, but Paros true love brought him back form the storm the seawaves and the rocks of death. Their father at last came to know of this love. But he was not only the chife but a father as well. He tried to hide it. He tried to be strict on Paro, but Haria, the old old enemy was always at watch. . Did Bikram punish his own daughter, did Haria succeed in taking his revenge upon Bikram, did Paro win in her love, did Paro win in her, love did Rara do any thing to save her.
