Salim Langde Pe Mat Ro 1990

Salim Langde Pe Mat Ro is a 1990 Indian Bollywood social film released on 1990. The film is directed by Saeed Akhtar Mirza.
Salim has been born halt, and lives with his family, and a sister who is old enough of the marriageable age. He and his daddy search around for a suitable match for her, and he goes to meet Aslam. Salim rebuff Aslam, as Aslam is not making enough earnings that are commensurate with his qualifications. Salim meets with some crooks, who promise him that they will make him wealthy soon, and all he has to do is abet religious riots, countering Hindus against the Muslims, and he will be well rewarded.

This film is about a man, Salim, who was uneducated and who fell into bad company. His underworld name was Salim Langda. His father was very poor and could only afford to educate his elder son but unfortunately he dies of an electric shock, in an accident in the company in which he worked as an electrician. Salim's only sister, Aneez was younger to him and was the doll of the family. He wanted her marriage to be conducted ina a very prestigious way, but some events make him realise that he must change and earn an honest living. He would then marry off his sister with his honest earnings. But he was so enmeshed in this bad world that getting out of it proved to be very difficult. What will happen next? Will he be able to get out of this world? Will his past trouble his present? A beautifully made movie. Excellent acting by Pavan Malhotra as Salim Langda.
