Samson is a 1964 Indian Bollywood costume film released on 1964. The film is directed by Nanubhai Bhatt, produced by Shiri Krishna.
Samson is the king of jungle. All the animals residing in the jungle are his pet. He will not mind playing with fire in order to protect his animal friends. Samson is cruel to nobody and would not stand cruelty from any other source. He is bestowed with unheard of physical power and strength. Samson believes in existance at one supreme God. . Sheba is the ruling princess of Husnabad, which is inhabited only by girls. The princess and his subjects worship a carions God of therir own. . Rashid is the only male, allowed to live in Husnabad, because he is the keeper of the shrine of this God. His wishes are Gods wishes and his directives are the directives of God. No other male is allowed to enter the kingdom, if by chance intertionally enters the kingdom, immediately he would be thrown before a dragon to be killed and devoured It has been prophecised by Rashid, that the day Sheba, the ruling princess of Husnabad falls in love with a man, the entire kindom would be subjected to various sufferings from all the sides, and wonder be destroyed completely. . But Rashids prophecy did not deter cupid the cunning God at love.. One by one he found his victims. . First one to experience the thrabs of love was Laila, the favourite Kaneez of princess Sheba. She falls in love with Salook, a handsome youth. When Sheba came to know of this love affair, she did her best to bring back the girl to realities and save her from the dangerous consequences but treachrous path of love. But all was in vain. Instead Sheba herself bacame an easy prey to Cupids arrows. Samson came in her life and fired her imagination, she was frightened. Sheba tried to forget Samson, tried to banish him from her memories, but all in vain. Samson was entrached in her heart so firmly that inspite of all her efforts she could not diladge him. . Rashied was furious, so was his God. His prophecy came to be true. His God let loose his fury and city of Husnababd was on fire. Entire city would have been destroyed, but for Rashids prayers and obcations he atoned for the sins of his princess Sheba. . Sheba found herself on the two horns at dilemma. On the one hand she could choose Samson and his love for a God who was merciful and with whom she was in love, and on the other hand she faced Rashid and his cruel God, for whom her love was a taboo and hatred a rejoicement and essnce of existance. . Sheba valiantly choose Samson and merciful God, and immediately she found herself engaged in a mortal battle with embittered Rashid and his feroxious God.
