The story starts with Jackie Shroff. Jackie Shroff is named as Sethu Ram Sargamwala. In his opposite role is Madhuri Dixit who performs the double role of Nirmala Devi/Sangeeta. Sethu Ram comes from Rajasthan. Sethu Ram is a singer by profession. One day, Nirmala Devi with her mommy comes to look after the construction of the building and there she clashes to Sethu Ram Sargamwala. She invites him for a party. Sethu Ram then meets with Sangeeta where she is actually performing her stage show, but looking at the people he stops the show and the very next day Ram goes to Sangeeta's home to take his pagdi and then comes to know that she is not able to see. Aruna Irani is her mommy. Sethu Ram requests them to come and live with him. They all stay together with each other. Sethu Ram meets Sangeeta to Nirmala. He asks Nirmala about how he protected Sangeeta from the vulgar people and he wants Sangeeta to see her good dance. Nirmala says that she teach her to dance so that she would be able to do good and big dance shows all over.

Sethu Ram then meets Sangeeta where she is performing a stage show. Seeing people being vulgar Sethu Ram gets angry and stops the show. Next day Sethu Ram goes to Sangeeta's house to take his pagdi and then comes to know that she is blind. Aruna Irani is her mom. Sethu Ram requests them to come and stay with him. They all stay together. They become friends. Sethu Ram introduces Sangeeta to Nirmala. He tells Nirmala about how he saved Sangeeta from the vulgar people and he wants Sangeeta to learn good dance. Nirmala says that she will teach her how to dance so that she would be able to perform good and big dance shows all over. Aruna Irani sees Nirmala in temple. She gets disturbed. She wants to go back to her village with Sangeeta. Sethu Ram asks her why? She tell him the story and tells him to keep this secret to himself. Nirmala teaches them how to dance, Nirmala and Aruna meets each other where Aruna tells Nirmala that Sangeeta is her daughter. Sethu Ram wants to donate his eyes to Sangeeta but the doctor refuses telling him that eyes can be donated only if the person his dying and he pledges that he wants to donate the eyes. Nirmala listen to their talk. Both Jackie and Nirmala wants to donate their eyes. Sangeeta comes to know the truth. She goes back to that vulgar show. Jackie gets angry. what will happen next?
