Sanshodhan is a 1996 Indian Bollywood drama,social film released on 1996. The film is directed by Govind Nihalani.

Parmino is a little village in Central India, directed by a Village Committee comprising of all males. When the Government of India warns the Committee that a third of them must be ladies, including individuals in scheduled caste and tribes involving the Sarpanch named Ratan Singh, decides to let ladies run for the election as well have seats in the Panchayat. After the gathering gets over, he confesses his son named Inder, to get Manju, his beau, to sign the property papers. Also asked are the beau of another Panchayat member, as well as Vidya the newly wedded bride of a poor store owner named Bhanwar, who is credited to Inder and Ratan Singh. In this approach, Ratan and Inder hope to control the ladies through their respective beaus, and rule over the Panchayat as they have worked before.
