Shabnam Mausi 2005

Shabnam Mausi is a 2005 Indian Bollywood drama, social, action film released on May 20, 2005. The film is directed by Yogesh Bhardwaj, produced by J. Manoj.

A few eunuchs, while dancing at an inspector's house, on birth of a baby find that the baby is an eunuch. They take the baby along with them. Amma (Vishwajeet Pradhan) asks Halima ( Vijay Raaz) to take care of the baby. Halima is quite glad to be a mother and gives the baby a name, Shabnam. Years later Shabnam (Ashutosh Rana) becomes young and beautiful too. A young guy Iqbal starts loving her. But as expected no body is ready to accept them as a couple. Amma's unacceptable acts get Halima killed and the charges fall on Shabnam. She runs away from the police to a village Anookpur in Madhya Pradesh. There she saves Naina (Gehna Singh) from local gundas. Her father Raaghav (Paintal) gives Shabnam shelter at his home. With her intelligence and brave nature, Shabnam becomes a favourite among the public. Politician Vinod Verma even asks Shabnam to fight elections against his own party member Ratan Singh (Govind Namdeo), who has become selfish. Will Shabnam accept the offer, being well aware that she is an eunuch? Even if she does, will the public vote for a eunuch? What will the clever Ratan Singh do to her if she really joins politics?
