Shaitan is a 2011 Indian Bollywood suspense, thriller, drama, crime film released on Jun 10, 2011. The film is directed by Bejoy Nambiar, produced by Anurag Kashyap under banner named Anurag Kashyap Production, music composed by Ranjit Barot.
After the death of her mom and the entrance of a step-mom, Amrita Jayshankar exits into herself. Her dad is bid to her school and is said that his daughter may need psychotherapy, but he rejects to trust and instead makes a contribution to the school. Then Amrita encounters with three men and a lady, named Zuben, Dushant, Karan; and Tanya correspondingly. Composed they live it up with medications and liquor until things gets out of control when they unintentionally kill a pair. An unethical police officer strains Rs.25 Lakhs to remove their participation. Powerless to come up with so much money, the five choose to false abduction, claim the money from Amrita's dad, and clear their own names. Amrita so goes 'missing', and her dad involves the forces, who allocate this situation to once-deferred police checker, Arvind Mathur. With the television getting complicated, Arvind begins his study, but will soon find it disadvantaged - confusing not only his task - but also his individual life.
