Shart 1969

Shart is a 1969 Indian Bollywood social film released on 1969. The film is directed by Kewal Mishra, produced by Raj Kumar Kohli under banner named Shankar Movies.

Raj likes to gamble and place bets about virtually anything, including befriend an attractive woman, Pinky, and pretending to her brother, while carrying on his romance with his sweetheart, Sapna Singh. The second time Raj sees Pinky is in a coffin being carried to her grave, while he consoles her dad, someone shoots him dead, leaving Raj to take the blame. The third time he sees Pinky singing and dancing at a New Year's Party; the 4th time he sees her posing in a photograph with Sapna; and the 5th time he is introduced to a very much alive Pinky by Sapna, where she refuses to recognize him, and shortly thereafter she is found dead in Sapna's house; and the 6th time both Sapna and he find her lifeless body hanging from the ceiling. As this mystery deepens, the Police want to question Raj about the two deaths - while Raj himself keeps on getting deeper and deeper in a mystery that may well end up taking his very own life.

Story of Shart is a very peculiar story of its own type. . Thought in the real life a human being is in the habit of betting but Raj was very found of betting and winning. It had become his second nature. Once his veyr habit of winning the bet involved him in such a complication that his very step was leading towards dath. . It was a peculiar bet. According to the bet, he had to visit the grave yard in the midnight and there he was suppose to light a candle on a newly built grave. . When in the dead of night, Raj reached there, he faced the dead body of Pinky in the coffin. Pinky was the girl whom he had embraced the same day at Gate Way of India just to win another bet from his friends . After the burial when he left the grave yerd for his house it was another shock awaiting for him at home. He found the dead body of Pinky in his own bed. He was mentally upset. Here the truble did not end rather it was the beginning. Before his eyes in his presence and in his own room the father of Pinky was murderad, and he was accused for the same. Even his life became a riddle for him. The riddle which puzzled his entire life. . Sapna was his beloved. She was very upset due to mental worries Raj. Sapna and Ramesh the frined of Raj were trying their best to help him, but their every step was making the matter more complicated for Raj. . One day, all of a sudden Raj saw Pinky, the same Pinky who was buried befor e his own eyes in the grave and the same Pinky was dancing before him at the dancing floor of club. No sconer did Raj see her than she disappeared. Raj followed her and when with the great difficulty he reached her place, her dead body was hanging with the celling. It was another shock of his life.
