Shree Partner 2012

Shree Partner is a 2012 Indian Marathi drama, romance film released on Oct 24, 2012. The film is directed by Sameer Ramesh Surve, produced by Vimal Lohane under banner named Parv Creations.
Adapting a novel into a film is a big objection. Filmmaker Sameer Ramesh Surve faced the same objection in Shree Partner since he was set out to make a movie on the classic novel Partner by Va Pu Kale. Although, generally telling, the objective of both the novel and the movie is to tell a story, both mediums are extremely different. So there shouldn’t be connections on whether the film is better than the book or vice versa. The question should be whether the movie succeeds in generating the same emotions which the book did.
