Sriman Bhutnath is a 1997 Indian Bengali comedy film released on 1997. The film is directed by Amal Ray Ghatak.

This is a story of a honest person called Bhuthnath. He was uneducated and rustic man. But he was a good human being. In his childhood his step-mother was tortured him very much. But he was very polite and devoted person. He has one younger brother called Lokenath. Loknath loved his brother very much. One day some Anti-socials attacked Lokenath, but Bhuthnath came and rescued him. But police came and arrested Bhuthnath. His father was a poor priest. He had gone city with his Bhuthnath. He came to Binoy chowdhury’s home. And Bhuthnath stayed his home. He got a job of the caretaker at this home by Binoy babu. But Binoy Chowdhury's daughter Jhilik was never liked Bhuthnath. She want to remove him. But Binoy Chowdhury told everyone he cannot remove Bhuthnath. Because many years ago Bhuthnath's father helped him, If he would have not helped him, he wasn't became a businessman. So Binoy chowdhury was very devoted to him. But jhilik still tried to remove him for her home. But Bhuthnath was very gentle and virtuous person. He earned every one's respect. Jhilik's friend Riniwas respected Bhuthnath very much. But suddenly one day Jhilik's uncle came from foreign who was a very good human being. He liked Bhuthnath very much. One day Jhilik's friend Rajat theft a golden neckless and put it into Bhuthnath's bag. Bhuthnath was blame for it. Binoy Chowdhury never believed that, still he removed Bhuthnath from home. Bhuthnath came back his village. At the moment his step-mother realised that how she tortured Bhuthnath. She felt sorry for that. Bhuthnath sing very well. Jhilik's uncle caught the real thief Rajat. Then he came to Bhuhnath's home to bring him back. Then Bhuthnath went and sang a song in a function. Then Jhilik fell sorry for Bhuthnath. And she married by Bhuthnath. Then they are fall in love.
