Sunny is a 1984 Indian Bollywood family drama, drama, social film released on Jan 01, 1984. The film is directed by Raj Khosla, produced by Amarjeet , music composed by R. D. Burman.
The story has main character as Sunny. He is the boy of Inderjeet from the lady named as Sitara. Sitara is the leading singer. Now, Inderjeet has his wife named as Gayatri. But, Inderjeet hides the truth about Sitara and Sunny. Gayatri is also not able to conceive at any moment. But, after the accidental plane crash of Inderjeet, Gayatri comes to know of the fact that Sunny and Sitara were earlier the part of Indrajit's life. Then Gayatri takes Sitara to Shimla and then gives Sunny her own name and family. Day goes by and Sitara now adopts her friend’s girl named as Amrita. Amrita one day sings a song on doordarshan channel and then Sunny becomes her fan. Slowly, their friendship turns into love and Sunny takes Amrita to his home. Gayatri after seeing Amrita says that she won’t accept her as she is tawaif. After this, Sunny questions Gayatri for insulting Amrita. But, she sends him to Sitara. Sitara also don’t permit Amrita and Sunny’s wedding, but after situations turn out, Sunny comes to know that he is the son of Inderjeet and Sitara and then after this Gayatri takes poison and is found dead.
