The Executioners axe flashed in the air, but before its fatal blow could fall, a poisoned arrow pierced his heart. And instead of the Rebel, the Executioner fell a dead man. . The people looked up in awe; they saw the masked Teerandaz standing majestically with another arrow poised on the bowstring. . And the masked Teerandaz assured them, saying: "Countrymen, my arrows shall always seek out the Tyrants; they shall always seek to serve you." And a new hope surged up in their and they shouted with joyous ababdon "Long Live Our Teerandaz". The skies over Baghdad resounded with their happy shouts. IN THE ROYAL PALACE: . With his head haging low in shame, the Tyrant assured th furious King: . " O My Royal Master, within a few days the masked head of the Rebel Teerandaz shall be at your Royal Feet." . And the Princess, who was nearby, exclaimed in surprise, "The masked head!" . The Tyrant answered: "Yes, Your Royal Highness: Yes, the masked head..... for the Rebel Teerandaz always wears a mask." . And the Princess was still more astonished and addressed herself to her Royal Brother, saying: . "Then the masked Teerandaz could even be a woman." . And hearing this the King fumed in fury and shouted to the Royal attendants: . "Fetch water, o fools, fetch water.....a few drops only, for my Prime Minister to drown himself in shame."
