There's an old joke about a 3D movie. A man watching a 3D flick asks the guy sitting in front of him, "Please take off your hat. It is blocking my view. "Damn it," the man replies, "I am in the movie." Now with high-definition 3D technology, that joke is almost true. Watching the speed machines in top gear in The Final Destination, you feel you're sitting in the middle of the racetrack in danger of being run over. And on more than one occasionRead full review2.0

Not again. The fourth installment of the teenybopper horror series sticks to the template delivering yet another chain of gruesome death scenes. Without the semblance of a plausible storyline, The Final Destin-ation will leave fans of the franchise disappointed despite being available in the 3-D format. Also, the shudder-fest is not meant for the squeamish. n the latest go-around, a clairvoyant teenager (Campo) sees a vision warning him of an impending disaster at the race track.Read full review2.0

But no, people die the craziest, most bizarre deaths everyday and writer Eric and director Ellis couldn't resist bringing to screen the few that made the cut (sheesh, I really must stop punning!) in full-blown 3-D, for number 4. The story is really the same as the previous three installments.Read full review1.0

So in the first one (Final Destination), the protagonist and a few escape a plane crash (to die eventually of course), in the second (Final Destination 2), a mass pile-up of cars on a highway leading to more crashes and in the third (Final Destination 3), a roller-coaster crash. This time they are in a race track. Yes, you guessed it right. There is an accident and a few of them escape. The premise of the movie remains like the previous installments.Read full review
