Thikana 1987

Thikana is a 1987 Indian Bollywood drama, crime, social film released on Oct 23, 1987. The film is directed by Mahesh Bhatt, produced by Paul Arora under banner named Dilwala Movies.

This movie is dramatic version of a family drama who has a son and is useless, a daughter who tries every possible step to earn money and feed her family. The story starts with a love affair between the minister and a girl. Later on the girl decides to blackmail the minister if he betrays her in future by placing a camera in her room. As usual when the minister comes to her house for a session of lovemaking, discovers her affair with another man. The minister kills her out of frustration and anger. Unknown of the fact , that the girl had placed a camera, the next friend of that girl goes to expose the heinous crime of the politician. When he goes to hand over the tape to a newspaper agency, there he gets to learn about the newspaper agency has too some connection with the politician. He runs with the tape and calls his sister telling her about the situation in which he is in. the sister then plans to file a case against the minister and asks the useless son of the family who is in meanwhile shown as a lawyer , but the lawyer too out of his uselessness do not respond to this case. Later he finds that his sister aborts her child just to have enough money to feed her family. Feeling guilty, the lawyer decides to take up the case and fight for the justice.
