Thottupaar 2010

Thottupaar is a 2010 Indian Tamil action film released on Oct 15, 2010. The film is directed by K T Nandu. The story of a spoilt youth Vikranth, who cares for nothing and has no goals in life. One day he gets into trouble with a cop (late actor Haneefa). But soon, they become friends and connive to release criminals from prison for money. During one such act, Vikranth bails out a dreadful don, who then promptly bumps off a minister. With no options left, Vikranth decides to leave his village head to Chennai. Here he ends up as a server in a wine shop, where he meets a non-practising lawyer (Azhagam Perumal) and his wife (Anu Haasan), a doctor by profession. He also meets Lakshana, an undergraduate student. After a few initial encounters, love blossoms between them. But trouble comes in the form of a villainous transgender (Ramana)!
