Vaastav is a 1999 Indian Bollywood action film released on Oct 15, 1999. The film is directed by Mahesh Manjrekar, produced by Deepak , music composed by Jatin-Lalit.

Suleiman is Bombay's chief criminal crook. All interlinks somehow or the other are associated to him. He has hired a hitman named Raghunath Namdev Shivalkar, who has made a mark of her identity for himself. While Suleiman believes on Raghunath, there are some others who disdain Raghunath, and are just waiting in the sidelines to see when Raghunath makes a crime. Raghunath does the same, and hence becomes chagrins for Suleiman. Soon Raghunath is on his track, both from the police officers, and Suleiman's boys.Raghunath knows now that he must protect his companions, mom and dad, and family members, as they too are in crisis. Then Raghunath comes to know that the police have been controlled to kill him in an "encounter", and Raghunath now thinks that there is no trigger from this harsh reality.
