Venkata In Sankata is a 2009 Indian Kannada comedy, romance, costume drama, action film released on Feb 20, 2009. The film is directed by Ramesh Aravind, produced by Narendra Mangalani under banner named Sinema House. The story begins with Venkata (Ramesh Aravind) who happens to be a cop and very good at his job but he has a concern. His colleague and junior Laddu (Devadas) who is a constable ends up taking all the laurels and credit for the efforts that Venkata puts in. Venkata gets frustrated but in comes his grandmother (M S Umesh) who tells the cop that it is all due to bad phase of astrology and star positions. She then takes him to a palmist (Sanketh Kashi) who is a fraud but then he ends up giving some tips and suggestions. There, the palmist's daughter falls for Venkata and starts wooing him with her charms.Meanwhile, Venkata is given a mission to accomplish on a terror plot to kill the Prime Minister and for this he ends up becoming a college student and much to his woes, a college student falls in love with him.
