Ya Rab 2014

Ya Rab is a 2014 Indian Bollywood drama film released on Feb 07, 2014. The film is directed by Hasnain S Hyderabadwala, produced by Hoori Ali Khan.
The story starts with Ikram who is living happily in Lucknow. He is a Muslim and he is a happy-go-lucky guy. This guy has a brother, Maulana Jilani who holds a respectable position in his society. He has many followers from all over the world. But, this Maulana has a very different site and he wants to give power and spread terrorism all over the country. He selects young boys from all over the country, orders them to prepare bombs, and brainwashes to them to make their mission accomplished. Now, there is another man in the story who is a cop and who is in search of this Maulana. This man is Rann Vijay Singh, who has the information about a big plan that is going to take place on the particular date in Lucknow. So, he decides to investigate this thing all by himself. He comes to know that Maulana will destroy a mall in Lucknow. This tragedy creates threats to Maulana as there is an eyewitness who is his brother’s pregnant wife. She is the only witness of what had actually taken place. But, Maulana now tries every possible thing to destroy her and her child. He does everything to make situations complicated for her and her child. Ya Rab movie is to show how Islam has been used as a tool to propagate terrorism. The Quran does not approve of terrorism in any way, not a single verse in the Holy Quran supports terrorism. Many people mention verses from the Holy Book and present it as evidence of Islam being a terror breeding religion for their political and monetary gain. Ya Rab focuses on such issues where we deal with so called self proclaimed Maulanas (Islamic Preachers) who misinterpret The Quran and its real meaning to breed terrorists and terrorist activity. It also shows how such people manipulate the young and vulnerable youth in the name of Islam and Jihad to run their terror shops.
