Yaariyan is a 2014 Indian Bollywood romance film released on Jan 10, 2014. The film is directed by Divya Khosla Kumar, produced by Bhushan Kumar , music composed by Pritam Chakraborty.
The story is of Sikkim University where five friends are actually admitted. The story starts with Lakshya who is actually the son of ex-army officer, but he is not in the motion that his father sacrificed his life for the nation. Lakshya and Jia are in love with each other. Saloni is a drummer and Neil is the biker. These five friends are actually the colleges shining stars. They enjoy their college days, but are aimless about their life’s motive. They face a challenge when their college is under threat and the American plans to start a casino there. So, these people oppose to him and then he puts a challenge to them that if they defeat the American’s in the five round competitions, then they will keep their college as it is. For first three rounds they are taken to America and then Lakshya meets his friend named as Debu. During first round, they take away Lakshya’s rock band and beats Debu. He is then taken to the hospital and this team loses the first round. Saloni wins the second and the third round they all loses because of Debu’s death.
