Four years ago, our country faced a treacherous attack by a neighbour- ing country whom for long we had considered our friend. At taht time Guptaji, a firm believer in the principles of non-violence, enjoyed popular support in the country. On the other hand a small faction of people was led by Jolkar once an associate of Guptaji, who for the furtherance of his own politaical ends and fame, was nourishing dreams of a bloody revolution in collission with the invading country. Jolkar was fully aware that a bloody revoultion could not be engineered till Guptiaji was alive. He, therefore, instigated a group of young mis- guided people to exterminate Guptaji. . Meanwhile, Guptajis followers became aware of these nefarious plans and hence guarded his residence so strongly that any access or approa- ch to it by a stranger was impossible. . Guptaji had a Secretary by the name of Sarita who came to Bombay on leave with a view to marry her fiancee. Sarita fully resembled a model girl in Bombay and Jolkar evolved a master plan to exploit this coincidence of resemblance between the two girls. He conspired to plant this model girl in Guptajis house in the capacity of his secretary alongwith Sanjay, a member of Jolkars party, in the garb of her newly wedded husband.
